Introduction

The inception of  the TMSC International® Internet Writing Style is simple. and T use Internet writing, the TMSC International® Internet Writing Style is patterned after these resources. This Internet based writing style has the purpose of including informative articles with real researched, valid, and reliable information that gives credit to the original author.

 

TMSC International® Internet Writing Style  Publication Integrity: Credits, Sources, References, & Citations

  • Within the Article Citations
  • For Any Type of Citation: (Author’s last name, Year of Publication) at the end of the sentence before the period. For multiple authors: If more than three, First Author and “et al”.
    • For example:  Crisis reporting is a part of independent and free press (Scott, 2009).
  • If the URL has no Author: (Article’s Name or URL’s Name, Year of Publication) at the end of the sentence before the period.
    • For example: Canonization is an Ancient Custom, science and faith work together to examine miracles (Is The Late Pope John Paul II A Beati: The Tradition of Veneration/Canonization, 2009).
  • At the Beginning of a sentence: Author’s Name (Year of Publication),-For multiple authors: If more than three, First Author and “et al”.
    • For example: According to Tres Scott (2009), use identity theft…
  • At the Beginning of a sentence, if the URL has no Author: Article’s Name or URL’s Name (Year of Publication),
    • For example: Wikipedia (2009) states that…
  • In Alphabetical Order At the End of Your Work:
  • At the End of Your Work, If An Book: Last Name, First & Middle Initials,…other author names for multiple authors (Year of  Publication). Name of Book, Publisher, Place Published, page number(s).
  • At the End of Your Work, If An Article: Last Name, First & Middle Initials,…other author names for multiple authors (Year of Publication). Name of Article. Name of Journal/Magazine/Newspaper. Issue Number(s), page number(s).
  • At the End of Your Work, URL-Internet credit, source, reference, or citation If the Author’s Name is Listed: Last Name, First & Middle Initials (Year of Internet Publication). URL-Page Number or Search Word(s). If the URL does not show the publishing Website’s or Weblog’s name, Website or Weblog’s Name. The URL includes the Protocol, host name, path to document, and file name of specific document. The URL is used to map digital information of the Internet.
  • At the End of Your Work, URL-Internet credit, source, reference, or citation If the Author’s Name is not available: URL-Page Number or Search Word(s) (Year of Internet Publication). If URL does not show the publishing Website’s or Weblog’s name, Website or Weblog’s Name. The URL includes the Protocol, host name, path to document, and file name of specific document. The URL is used to map digital information of the Internet.
  • At the End of Your Work, Pamphlet: Last Name, First & Middle Initials,…other author names for multiple authors (Year of  Publication). Name of Pamphlet, Publisher, Place Published, page number(s).
  • At the End of Your Work, Report:  Last Name, First & Middle Initials, …other author names for multiple authors (Year of  Publication). Name of Report, Publisher, Place Published, page number(s).

General Mechanics of the TMSC International® Internet Writing Style

  • Most common spelling of the Language used
  • Most common punctuation of the Language used
  • Most common Grammar of the Language used
  • Numbers: 1-9 words, 10 and above numbers

Descriptive-qualitative statistics are word reports that are given “statistical quantitative values” (sqv).
